As a fairly novel addition to Team Jumpman’s arsenal, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 hasn’t gotten the respect of many sneaker purists, but the shoe has won countless fans over due to its comfort.
Recently, the modified original Air Jordan emerged in shades of white and grey. The combination of tones isn’t new, but its application is reminiscent to the “Silverware” Nike Zoom Vomero 5 that launched at the end of February. Tumbled leather makes up the majority of the pair’s upper, with construction around the ankle donning a breathable mesh. Swooshes on the sidewalls also introduce an experimental finish, opting for a recessed, reflective silver hue. The same detail lands on the “ZOOM AIR” label on the tongue, delivering further contrast to the updated design. Sole units underfoot favor a yellow tinge for “vintage” appeal, while the reworked outsole keeps things clean in all black. Formula23 foam and Air Zoom units offer all-day comfort that rounds out the modern Air Jordan 1.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. No nike.com launch date has been shared by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon.
