The Nike Dunk Low has been systematically positioned by the Beaverton brand as one of the most recurring offerings from The Swooshes lifestyle archives over the past few years. Alongside the likes of the Air Force 1 and Blazer, the Peter Moore design has frequently been experimented with past its usual clad-leather limits. Recently, the staple low-top of the Summer dressed in its most unique tooling to date, draped in topographical detailing.
Cast across its vamp, quarter and collar, a light blue terry cloth fabric mimics the lines of rough terrain with a series of soft and etched-out underlays. Elsewhere, the surrounding smooth leather overlays render a clad “University Blue” option above while a marbled finish attributes the mid-foot Swoosh alongside the parallel tongue and heel tabs to add further versatility to the tonal color blocking. Underfoot, the premium ensemble closes up shop in its typical tooling with a crisp white midsole and titular tread below.
As we await further release details and further colorways utilizing the aforementioned theme, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike Dunk Low “Topography/University Blue”.
In other news from underneath the Nike Inc. banner, the Zoom Freak 5 recently surfaced in an all-white composition.
