Extra Butter Helps The PUMA Clyde Celebrate Its 50th Anniversary

Extra Butter Helps The PUMA Clyde Celebrate Its 50th Anniversary

No strangers to one another, Extra Butter and PUMA have recently teamed up to celebrate the latter’s iconic Clyde model.

Part of the sneaker’s 50th anniversary celebration, the latest linkup between both institutions celebrates the PUMA Clyde’s importance via the lens of New York City. The latest take in a string of styles inspired by the “Big Apple,” Extra Butter’s latest collaboration draws inspiration from the place it calls home. The color palette employed throughout the shoe is relatively muted, but details like the “city-worn,” “scuffed form stripes on the side and vintage subway token graphic on the tongue make statements of their own. The midsole and sockliners also feature nods to the city’s subway system, which helps transport millions of locals from one place to another. Lastly, a toe bumper appears on the Extra Butter x PUMA Clyde 50 “NYC” for additional ruggedness.

Enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead, and enter the raffle on Extra Butter where winners can pick up in-store on June 3rd.
