Grant Taylor’s Love Of American Muscle Cars Inspires His Nike SB Blazer Mid

Grant Taylor’s Love Of American Muscle Cars Inspires His Nike SB Blazer Mid

Nike SB showcases a roster of some of the best skaters in the world. From time to time, the label’s riders will receive either a technical or emotional update to some of their favorite silhouettes. For Nike athlete Grant Taylor, that comes in the form of American muscle cars.

Striking up an exclusive color blocking, the SB Blazer Mid endears itself to a pitch-dark ensemble. Tumbled leather cures the entirety of the upper in with a jet-black fervor while stretching dimly lit color matches across the ballistic mesh tongue and flat laces. Underfoot, the canvas sole unit has been stricken with a crisp white contrast while translucent tongue tabs feature a race car-inspired interpretation of his logo and the heel tab bears Taylor’s signature. What’s more, the profile swoosh and “’98” stitched unto the heel shine in a “Metallic Silver” finish while a litany of muscle car-inspired stickers litter the insoles.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike SB Blazer Mid “Grant Taylor 98” below while we await further release details.

In other news from underneath the Nike Inc. umbrella, the Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low “Buttercup” recently surfaced.
