Running, Basketball, and Training: these were the three major arenas of battle in the footwear industry in the 1990s, and Reebok was, at many times, the victor. From its iconic Pump line to the all-purpose-training Preseason series, Reebok was delivering the goods, backed by the best athletes in the game.
Arguably among the most memorable, nostalgia-inducing sneaker sub-lines in that awesome decade was the Reebok Preseason; dedicated to training off-the-field, the Preseason models were built to specs for the game’s most dynamic individuals to get them ready on the field. Years ago, Reebok re-issued some of the choice silhouettes from the legacy like the Reebok Scrimmage Mid and the Reebok Paydirt; now, it’s most recognizable model is back to celebrate its own 30th Anniversary.
The Reebok Preseason 94 is confirmed to be out again on January 26th, 2024. The OG Black/White Mid, famously worn by Emmitt Smith, will be joined by the low-top white/red black on the same day. The former pair was made famous by the bold mid-foot strap that featured the PRESEASON logo across the in-step, with one of the sharp vectors of the Reebok logo acting as the lock-down.
The Mid ($130) and Low ($100) are dropping on Reebok soon, so get a look at the official images ahead and stay tuned for a release.
