The UNC Tar Heels Receive An Air Jordan XX3 PE

Michael Jordan's college team are recipients of yet another Player Exclusive.

The UNC Tar Heels Receive An Air Jordan XX3 PE

The Carolina Blue has played an integral role in the Air Jordan XX3’s legacy as it was prioritized on two unforgettable releases back in 2008. Not only did it serve in-line purposes with one of the cleaner GR colorways of the silhouette, but it also lent its color scheme to the individually-numbered Air Jordan XX3 “Titanium” — arguably one of the most sought after limited edition Air Jordans ever created.

Now, the Jumpman is dutifully returning the favor to the UNC Tar Heels by blessing their football program with the school’s first-ever Air Jordan XX3 Player Exclusive. Utilizing the striking powder blue, navy and white, Jordan Brand adds a molded suede upper depicting the Tar Heel mascot, while the opposite side features a quilted stitching with the NC emblem. The tongues feature the same logo in embroidered form, while “Go Heels” appears on the inner side.

The twenty-third model seems to be the model of choice for the 2023/2024 Player Exclusive circuit; we’ve already seen the Air Jordan XX3 “Georgetown” crafted in the same manner alongside other Jordan Brand schools. However, the shoe is currently out of circulation, appearing only as a China-exclusive drop last Fall.

In other Jumpman updates, mark your calendars for February 17th in preparation of the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined”.
