The trending lifestyle model continues its tear.

The New Balance 1906R Adopts A Clean “Grey/Off White” Look

The New Balance 1906R has pretty much covered all the bases when it comes to building hype around a shoe. Collaborations with Salehe Bembury and Action Bronson have sparked buzz, along with an unorthodox Junya Watanabe interpretation that reimagines the runner in loafer-mode. Aside from third-party influence, New Balance has also debuted upgraded “Utility” models and ample colorways to draw in a wide cast of sneakerheads.

Now a “Grey/Off White” edition joins the pack, complete with reflective overlays and grey TPU accents to produce a contemporary yet still retro look. Familiar treatments appear underfoot, the Boston brand utilizing a grey, cream, and mustard yellow sole unit seen consistently across recent designs. Hardly a stranger to loud color treatments, this 1906R colorway lends to a more versatile, less imposing aesthetic.
