Comme des Garçons SHIRT Brings Black And White To The ASICS GEL-Terrain

The emerging ASICS model gets a familiar touch.

Comme des Garçons SHIRT Brings Black And White To The ASICS GEL-Terrain

Comme des Garçons SHIRT and ASICS have joined forces on a slew of footwear offerings in recent memory, reimagining a variety of old and new ASICS silhouettes in upgraded, contemporary black and white colorways. The next chapter of the duo’s partnership hones in on the ASICS GEL-Terrain, an emerging model that arrived in late 2023 and has since been propelled by Kiko Kostadinov collaborations alongside inline drops.

Familiar all-black and all-white pairs make up this delivery, putting color theory aside to instead focus on premium material treatments in true CDG fashion. Gone are the silhouette’s traditional TPU overlays, replaced on these pairs by complete leather panels on the quarter, toe, and heel. In keeping with the shoe’s trail-ready motif, however, these co-signed pairs appear to maintain the shoe’s breathable lightweight mesh base.

All indications point towards a March 2024 global release at the time of this writing, with some Asian retailers already stocking pairs.
