The Women’s Nike Cortez Wears Smiley Face Branding

Good vibes prep the classic Nike silhouette for spring.

The Women’s Nike Cortez Wears Smiley Face Branding

With spring on the horizon, Nike continues to bring playful design language to a number of classic silhouettes. Next in line is the women’s Nike Cortez, now surfacing under a “premium” moniker with soft pastel colors, unique material treatments, and feel-good detailing.

An all “Phantom” leather base sets the stage on this pair, accompanied by matching suede hits on the eyelets, heel, and doubled-down Nike Swoosh. Up top, yellow lining and a lilac-colored tongue add a spring-ready feel, complemented by smiley face branding on the right shoe in “Have A Nike Day!” fashion. Paracord laces along with TPU eyestay and heel elements allow for wrap-around lace enclosure in a unique twist, while abstract Nike branding takes to the heel and insoles to complete the lively theme.

Nike’s latest Cortez delivery has already begun surfacing in Asia, so a stateside drop could be arriving in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy official images below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates.
