Mexico’s Paisa Boys Preview Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 And Cortez Collaborations

The LA imprint nabs a major partnership.

Mexico’s Paisa Boys Preview Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 And Cortez Collaborations

Born out of Mexican-American culture, Paisa Boys has become one of the defining faces of the LA streetwear scene with a rapid ascension since the pandemic. Now ticking another major achievement off the list, they previewed their next capsule collection, taking to the Nike Air Force 1 and Nike Cortez.

Both shoes show off essentially the same colorway, a muted combination of black and white with a pseudo-paisley laid over top. Combining classical vines with a tiled mosaic pattern, the embroidery adds both detail and texture, the graphics embossed to match additional visible stitching towards the back of both models.

With Paisa Boys’ designs heavily incorporating these sorts of geometric patterns, their continued emphasis on these two shoes shouldn’t come as a shock. On Nike’s side, the Air Force 1’s enduring relevance needs no explanation, but the inclusion of the Cortez makes a ton of sense given its cultural impact on the West Coast specifically.

With news of this collaboration only breaking yesterday, release details remain scarce for the moment. For now, enjoy the official images included throughout this piece, as well as an additional look at some co-branded graphics just ahead.

In other collaborative news, the Nike x Di’orr Greenwood Blazer Mid got official images ahead of their upcoming release.
