Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves are playoffs bound, but before the NBA regular season came to a close, the star brought out some special team-edition hardware for this past weekend’s 82-game circuit finale.
While most adidas AE1 colorways boast split color blocking between the Primekint upper and cage, this PE works in two shades underfoot with neon green framing a blue honeycomb structure, accentuating sharp features that often get lost in the shuffle. The blue hue taken here looks somewhat like that of the “Velocity Blue” pair that dropped in March, although brighter to better align with the Timberwolves’ retro jersey color, a direction that’s also served by the green secondary shade. Otherwise, a white adidas EQT logo on the heel rounds out the look.
