Contrasting ideas often work well bonded together. Hot and cold, high and low, and elegant and playful often lead to positive results, and this Air Force 1 displays the possibilities of such unconventional pairings.

At first glance, this Air Force 1 easily captures that premium aesthetic via the choice of colors and materials. Light British Tan, Burgundy Crush, and Light Brown all combine for a grown man’s AF1 colorway, but peek inside the insoles and you’ll see a mosaic of scribblings and sketches often found inside school notebooks or on desks. Lyrics, logos, and even the mythical “S” all appear on this unique take on the ’82 classic, but it’s all completely hidden when worn. Is the message here to be serious on the outside, but playful on the inside?
