Angel Reese Confirms Her Own Reebok Signature Shoe Line

The WNBA athlete adds context to her Reebok partnership.

Angel Reese Confirms Her Own Reebok Signature Shoe Line

Speaking with fans on TikTok LIVE, newly minted Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese confirmed that she will in fact be releasing her own signature shoe line with Reebok.

The news hardly comes as a surprise; Reese officially signed with Reebok late last year and stands as one of the biggest names in the next wave of WNBA talent. She’s the second athlete in this year’s draft class to get a signature shoe alongside her college rival Caitlin Clark, who signed a huge deal with Nike in mid-April.

Reese states that her signature Reebok line will officially kick off in a couple years, once she’s got some WNBA experience under her belt. Additionally, she adds context to what drew her to Reebok in the first place. Shaq’s new position as President of Basketball Operations was an important consideration, along with the fact that Reebok’s didn’t really have a focal signature athlete until Reese’s signing. While Reese could just has easily have signed with a more popular brand, not to say Reebok isn’t a big player, her decision to sign with Reebok stems from a desire to stand out.

What’s more is that Reese claims to have full creative control over her signature products. Therefore, we can expect her Reebok shoes and apparel to be aesthetically consistent with her pre-game tunnel fits and modern fashion trends at large, appealing directly to younger consumers.

While it will take some time for Reese’s signature line to come to light, this news comes as welcome development with great implications for current and future women’s hoopers. Watch the full snippet of her TikTok LIVE broadcast below.
