The Jordan Release Dates 2024 calendar includes OG colorways like the “Dark Powder Blue” and “Olive,” and at the same time, Jordan Brand has delivered several golf pairs, marrying basketball design language with golf-ready utility. The latter of those to categories is set to expand soon, as official images of the Air Jordan 9 Golf “US Open” arrive along with a projected June 2024 release date.
Never without a propensity to draw meaningful connections, the latest Jordan Brand golf shoe comes packed with significant ties to Jordan himself, even if they’re not overtly apparent. To start, the 2024 US Open will take place at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina, Michael Jordan’s home state. As such, a sign for nearby Interstate 74 appears on the heel, a subtle yet impactful addition that makes the shoe’s inspiration clear as day. The base structure itself is comprised of a white leather upper and grey mudguard and lining, decorated by a brown Jumpman logo, laces, and fiery red/yellow branding on the tongue and heel. Last but not least, red insoles introduce another Interstate 74 graphic alongside additional golf-inspired prints. Naturally, the outsoles come with the same grippy spokes as all AJ9 Golf shoes to date.
