The adidas LWST Returns In “Khaki/Shadow”

We’ve spilled plenty of ink on the topic of adidas skate shoes before, but just for the sake of it, the Three Stripes’ output in that category is growing both in number and in appeal. The latest riser is the adidas LWST, previously known as the Norton and introduced in earnest via a collaboration with BAPE. Since then, the rebranded LWST has shuffled seamlessly back into the mainline, and its renewed run continues with a combo of “Khaki” & “Shadow.”

Especially given the previous emphasis on contrast stitching via the strap-like Three Stripes branding, this sort of complementary look ventures into new territory. Typical skate aesthetics are on full display with this one, titular “Khaki” hues draping a mix of nubuck and synthetic mesh up top. A gum bottom lands underfoot, arguably the most eye catching section with skinny, vent-like dimples dotting the full sole unit. Complementary navy paints the suede adidas logo on the side, mirrored on the laces and sockliner.

The adidas LWST “Khaki/Shadow” is available via adidas.com now, retailing for $120. To get a better sense before you grab a pair, take a look at the official gallery included below.

Elsewhere for the German giant, the stream of Yeezy restock drops doesn’t seem to be slowing anytime soon- keep our Yeezy Release Dates page handy for when the newest ones launch.
