Nike Lunar Roam “Hyper Crimson” Is Available Now

The Nike Lunar Roam occupies a peculiar place in Beaverton’s retro strategy. While retro runners is a well-trod category, the 2008 model wasn’t revived necessarily for its aesthetics, but rather primarily for the then-premier LunarLon cushioning tech. Defining an era on additional Oregon offerings like the Hyperdunk series, LunarLon is now back on the market, offering a switch-up option in a catalog rife with suitable daily drivers. The latest colorway, “Hyper Crimson,” is available now, presenting a high-vis statement piece right alongside those bonafides.

In essence, this outfit circles back to the original Nike Lunar’s running shoe origins. As shoes are want to do in that lane, bright neon tones are the choice here, painting the full textile upper. Underfoot, an 80/20 split between bright pink and tangerine graces the accordion midsole. To round out the profile, jet black paints the outsole, rear pull tab, Swoosh and the magwire anchoring, one of a few hardware updates that the remastered Roam plants onto the OG.

As mentioned at the top, the Nike Lunar Roam “Hyper Crimson” is already up on Nike.com, retailing for $150. Hit the “Where To Buy” link just ahead to grab yours, or if you’re still on the fence, get a better look via the full gallery of official images further down.
