First Look At The Anti-Hero x Nike SB Dunk High

An easily digestible palette belies distressed detailing.

First Look At The Anti-Hero x Nike SB Dunk High

Even if you’ve been hit by mainline Dunk fatigue, it’s hard to not acknowledge Nike SB’s continuing connection to the culture at large. While we await the official drop of the There Skateboards SB Dunk, they’re reuniting with one of the most legendary imprints in the sport. First looks just landed of AntiHero x Nike SB Dunk High, set to land this Holiday season.

While the two brands haven’t united since the 2018 SB Dunk High, Nike SB & AntiHero’s paths have been intertwined nearly the whole way through. Both sponsors the likes of NSB legends like Grant Taylor and Brian Anderson, the shared family between the two imprints make collaboration again a logical play. For the record, AntiHero hasn’t receded from the streetwear world in the time since that last SB collab; Supreme and Vans are some of the notable outside partners that’ve enlisted the legendary brand over the past several years.

In terms of color choice, this shoe boasts a staid combination of whites & off-whites, but the materials showcase a more experimental bend. Cracked leather dominates the toe-box and eyestays, and towards the foot entrance, the shoe relies on an exposed foam tongue and heavily frayed collar. Anti-Hero’s Eagle logo is debossed on the heel of either shoe, on top of sitting center on the tongue tag. This design rounds out with the insole, continuing the distressed aesthetic grunge blend of nocturnal notes and “pre-loved” graphic, to put it mildly.

The AntiHero x Nike SB Dunk High is expected to drop Holiday 2024. Retail pricing is unknown at the time of writing- while we wait for that additional info, catch the full first look suite embedded further down.
