Don C reached the pinnacle of Jordan collaborators in 2018, finally aiding in designing a brand new silhouette. While it’s been a staple of the catalog ever since its introduction, its run in 2024 has placed the low-cut version on the forefront, cooking up a blend of classic Jordan Brand colorways and more eccentric takes along the way. Somewhere in the middle is its most recent outfit, a “Bred’ colorway with 3M panels that just hit Nike.com.

Readers likely don’t need a full explanation of the significance of “Bred,” here reminiscent of the Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined with a black leather upper, red outsole and pure white midsole in between. As promised in the title, the true development is ditching the Jordan 3 elephant print that typically graces the forefront mudguard and the heel counter, instead reaching outside of its hybrid construction for reflective material that calls to mind many a Jordan 5 release.
