Nike’s selection of EasyOn footwear make up only a small part of its catalog, but plays a crucial role in making sought-after styles accessible for all. The Beaverton brand released its first hands-free shoe at the top of 2021 and has since broadened its horizons with a slew of altered models for both lifestyle and performance purposes. The Jordan 1 Low EasyOn is one of them, now presented in another fresh colorway arriving in late 2024/early 2025.
Official images reveal a familiar color blocking scheme, with dark grey overlays resting atop a crisp white base. The overarching Jordan 1 Low OG shape stays the same, but the lacing system and heel are re-worked to allow for less resistance when securing the foot. The former is comprised of velcro with thick, attached cables assuming the role of traditional laces, while the latter features a zipper that allows for the back of the shoe to open wide. The AJ1 Low EasyOn also features a cut-out quarter Swoosh, presented in black this time around, although that quality doesn’t necessarily enhance accessibility.
Jordan Brand hasn’t set a firm release date at the time of this writing, but the Jordan 1 Low EasyOn “Grey/White/Black” is currently slated to release via Nike and retailers in late 2024/early 2025. Scroll through official images below if you’re due for a fresh pair.
