Breakdown of the Sneaker
The chief stakeholders have only officially confirmed the “Flat Pewter” colorway so far.
That pair begins with a massive dose of grey suede across the archival trainer’s body, contrasted by a camo inner bootie and an earthy gum sole underfoot. Of course, plenty of co-branding details and new details elevate this above just a simple palette swap. Perhaps most notable in that crowd is a new perforated Swoosh on the toe-box, but Corteiz logos at the forefoot and on the midfoot strap ensure you don’t lose sight of the UK brand’s hallmark within this design.
When Was The Nike Corteiz Air Huarache Trainer Announced?
Corteiz founder Clint419 was the first to provide an “official” look at the collaboration, taking to his Close Friends story on Instagram for a chest-out showcase of the brand’s upcoming effort. Already catapulted into the conversation of Nike’s most important collaborators, the UK imprint has since launched a heavy promo effort for their Nike Air Trainer Huarache collection. Arguably, the buzziest came with a rendition of the iconic Nike “Freestyle” commercials.
The cast of the modern reimagining all sport tonal outfits that line up with the reported three colorways of the shoe, tipped off by industry insiders back in late 2023. The brand then previewed the associated apparel that’ll land alongside the Nike Corteiz Air Trainer Huarache “Pewter Grey,” naturally matching the all-over neutral hues across a sweatsuit and tees.
Do note that the Corteiz Air Max 95 capsule, also made up of three pairs, was launched in staggered fashion. The first landed on March 15th, the second on March 21st, and the final on April 15th. While it remains likely that we’ll see three colorways of the Corteiz Air Huarache come about eventually, don’t count on a simultaneous release for all of its colorways.
When Will The Nike Corteiz Air Trainer Huarache Release?
No concrete release date has been attached to the Nike Air Trainer Huarache yet, but a retail price of $210 is confirmed. Again, this collaboration has been tabbed for a Holiday 2024 launch window for nearly a year now. Barring any late-breaking changes, at least the “Flat Pewter” colorway to land before the end of the year.
