The brand's next model is here.

EQLZ Is Ready To Launch Its Next Hoops Shoe For Shifty Ballers

Combining minimal branding and maximum aesthetics, EQLZ thrust itself into the world of performance basketball with the 247 — a stunner of a silhouette created by legendary footwear designer Aaron Cooper. With 25 years of experience at Nike and working on some of the most unforgettable projects in shoe history, Cooper brought his inimitable vision to the upstrat Chinese brand, and they’re to expand their catalog.

Months after the debut of the 247, EQLZ is now ready to launch its next basketball sneaker — the EQLZ 360. Designed for shifty hoopers who move in all directions with ease on the court, the 360 model is engineered specifically for quick cuts and explosive movements.

The design of the upper lockdown system acts similarly to the “monkey paw” tech seen in Nike Basketball models in the late 1990s/early 2000s — a design feature that Cooper was behind. Beneath that outer synthetic leather exterior is a knit material with a unique design pattern on the fabric; it’s a combination of modern and classic in terms of what we typically find in basketball shoes. The cushioning system for the 360 features super-critical Pebax foam at the fore-foot and the heel (compared to the full-length used in the 247).

Cooper served as the creative director for the new model, while the silhouette itself was designed by Brett Golliff, an industry vet who has designed for New Balance, Langston Galloway’s Ethics brand, and more. The EQLZ 360 will debut at retail in November for $130 here.
