Blue blood schools get some kicks to match.

adidas Basketball Celebrates College Hoops With Ten University Pairs

adidas’ efforts behind collegiate basketball are well-documented, recently explored with a set of PE Crazy 8 Low styles, yet stretching through the HBCU signature capsule and the 2023 Forum Low collection. Just over a year since the latter, the Three Stripes is circling back to college basketball country, dropping off ten corresponding styles of the Centennial Low for some of the sport’s most storied institutions.

Arizona State, Grambling State, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Miami, Nebraska, NC State, Texas A&M and Washington are in the spotlight, each colorway faithfully adapting the respective school’s signature palette in simplistic style. The inclusion on custom insoles bearing retro spell-out text and tongues with school logoselevates these far beyond just simple GRs, though, injecting prideful accents onto the otherwise easily-styleable looks.

Zooming out to the Three Stripes’ side of things, this continues the renewed energy behind the Centennial 85 Low, joining the Crazy 8 Low in a new initiative to rebrand their classic basketball styles with a more lifestyle-accessible lean.

Each of the pairs featured in this article are available now via the adidas site — pick up yours HERE. All ten editions retail at $100.
