The heat around Kobe shoes in Beaverton has arguably never been higher; when all is said and done, over a dozen distinct colorways will have hit the shelves in 2024. With Vanessa Bryant stewarding the continuation of her late husband’s line, that momentum will keep going in 2025. Pairs like the Kobe 5 “Year of the Mamba,” “What The” Kobe 8 and Kobe 5 “Draft Day” ensure that, but a new crop of releases is solidifying what to expect further down the line. Enter the Kobe 6 “Total Orange,” set to land in Fall 2025.

At this early stage, we can only confirm the color choices on display with this pair, a blend of “Total Orange/Metallic Silver/Cosmic Clay.” The heavy use of sunny shades on this pair leads one of the sources for this information, @zsneakerheadz, to associate a now-legendary photo of Kobe and Gigi Bryant with the colorway.

Importantly, the off-court moment already inspired the Kobe 4 “Girl Dad.” Take that alongside the enduring popularity and reverence of the “Mambacita” series, and revisiting the crystallized father-daughter moment isn’t far out of the realm of possibilities. If this were the case, it could make sense as a WNBA release, narratively connecting to the elder Bryant’s hoodie in the photo and strategically aligning with yearly W drops out of Nike, Inc.

To exit speculative territory, this does confirm that the Kobe 6 will retain its spot on the podium as one of the most popular models in Bryant’s line for another year. Since the revitalization of the Protro series, his sixth signature has provided some of the biggest releases of each year: the Kobe 6 “Reverse Grinch” in 2023, the Kobe 6 “Italian Camo” in 2024, and the pair in question as well as the Kobe 6 “All-Star” both early candidates the same success in 2025.
