Matt Varga In the back half of this year, it’s felt like we’ve spent equal time discussing 2025 Jordan Releases as the ones hitting the shelves concurrently. As the new year creeps closer and closer, many of those pairs set to land in Q1 and Q2 have started to trickle in earnestly, with proper images of in-hand pairs hitting the ‘net. Up next is one of the more widely anticipated retros queued up for summer, the Air Jordan 11 “Bred.”
Though these are just teaser shots, they essentially confirm the arrangement from mock-ups and general wide expectations. Black ballistic mesh, a black patent leather mudguard, red outsole, and black sock-liner ensure the iconic construction of the “Bred” Jordan 11 proper remains for this chop-down effort.
While Air Jordan 11 Low releases are a staple of the summer season, adapting such a classic colorway is what makes this drop all the more notable. Many of the AJ11’s most vaunted looks have already been checked off in recent years (“Concord” in 2014, “Cool Grey” in 2018, “Columbia” in 2021, “Space Jam” in 2024), the first proper treatment of the silo’s most iconic do-up is worthy of extra attention.
Note this is the first “true” treatment — the Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred” from 2015 swapped its sock-liner from OG black to red, separating it both from the legendary “Playoffs” high and a game-worn PE that MJ sported during Game 1 of the 1996 NBA Finals, reportedly the inspiration for this 2025 release.
At the time of writing, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred” is set to release April 26th, 2025 in full family sizing. While specific pricing is subject to change, the current breakdown is as follows: men’s ($190), GS ($150), PS ($80), TD ($60.)
