On Saturday, October 2nd, a milestone Air Jordan Retro will release – and its a kids shoe. What’s the big hoopla surrounding this kids shoe? The Air Jordan II in Lavendar and Deep Purple is the first female-designed Air Jordan in the history of the entire catalog, and bar’s been set pretty high for anyone else who is next in line. The sleek colorway was chosen by Vashtie Kola, a reputable name in the urban-fashion and hip-hop culture scene, and inspired by her clothing label Violette; this limited release will also come with special Violette tissue paper that matches the wholly feminine color-combination of purple tones and glittery laces. Again, these are a limited release with stock only going to the most select Jordan Brand retailers (House of Hoops in Harlem and Long Island being two known spots), so take another look after the jump and hit up Extra Butter on October 2nd for this historic release.
