If Under Armor and similar tech-oriented athletic wear strikes you as “really, really ugly,” you’re not alone. Supreme creative director Brendon Babenzien felt the same way, and a longing for the types of garments sportswear in which is grounded, is reflected in his new K-Swiss California Tennis Co. Collection. An entire capsule about holdin’ on to what’s golden, it’s inspired by Martin Elliott’s eternally provocative photo “Tennis Girl”, but the apparel side of things offers a more ‘traditional’ fit. There’s a retro locker room display currently in store at K-Swiss Harajuku, so click the jump below to see more of this Tokyo installation and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the Spring 2011 collection that’ll also be available in the US and Europe. via WWD
