History is more likely to relegate the Stupidly Light to a footnote than discuss its unique name in depth, and it’ll probably be further buried as time goes on and adidas Basketball comes through with new models like the one pictured above. The adidas adiZero Shadow gets its point across just as well without any of the self deprication, a Sprint Web construction that’s so light it’s named for a weightless reflection of your anatomy. This first drop looks like it could have been an NBA All-Star tie-in, but there’s also a certain GI-Joe appeal with the red, white and blue heel Stripes. Check them out along with other shots after the jump and look for the adiZero Shadow HWC at select retailers soon. via SM
