The Flight 23 has been around so long it predates the entire Sneaker News Editor staff, yet maintained a low profile the entire time thanks to sparse releases and generally being overshadowed by the more hotly anticipated models. Its Air Jordan IV-inspired lines get another overhaul with the new Jordan Flight 23 RST, a revision that eschews that AJ4-styled midsole in favor of one more reflective of Jordan Brand’s current tooling. This makes the heel Max Air unit feel brand new even though a similar cushion was in place with the original pairs, and along with the Fly Wade-leaning side panel inset, the overall effect is something like Air Jordan 4 meets JB’s 2012 performance catalog.
