If you’re not familiar with the name MAMAFAKA, we’re not talking about a spinoff to a Ben Stiller film franchise, but rather a Thai graphic designer born Pharuephon Mukdasanit. He’s not (yet) a household name in the US, but designs like this MAMAFAKA x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star will help to change that. These new black and white Chuck hightops add an eye from Mukdasanit’s ‘Mr. HELL YEAH’ piece at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center, a larger than life grinning character whose hairy ‘skin’ is echoed by the texture covering these kicks. Have a closer look below, let us know how these compare to some of the more elaborate Chuck Taylor collaborations we’ve seen and stick with Sneaker News for word on a possible US release. via ToysREvil
