We mentioned in covering the most recent Gel Lyte III that Asics had previewed ‘Aqua’ and ‘Grape’-leaning classic runners at a January tradeshow, and now we see the latter on a silhouette five years the GL3’s senior. The Asics GT-II also translates well to an Air Jordan Legacy-esque colorup, though there’s more of an anachronistic appeal with this 1986 model showing up in a distinctly early-’90s colorway. Let us know which classic Asics runner better manifested this time capsule look after you’ve had a chance to see these GT-IIs from more angles after the jump below, then pre-order yours from Overkill ahead of the next Saturday, September 1st release.
