San Francisco’s Benny Gold hooks up with Los Angeles’ The Hundreds for a new collaborative project inspired by the former’s proximity to arguably America’s most famous span. The Benny Gold x The Hundreds Johnson Low ‘Golden Gate Bridge‘ features a rusty mix of patina and ostrich leathers designed to replicate the 75 year-old suspension’s unique color, while teal elements point to the Bay for which SF’s NorCal surroundings are named. They’ve even got grey-to-white faded laces to emulate SanFran’s notorious fog, and as you might expect from a design this detail-oriented, the cross-branding elements have been subtly hidden within. Benny Gold for The Hundreds might be the latter’s best footwear release to date, and they’ll be at the Bomb brand’s flagships on November 9th with an online release from BG the following Monday.
