Nike Air Force 1 Low – Armed Forces 2009 – Military Quickstrike

372490_221_550

This year’s Air Force 1 Armed Forces edition goes in a different direction from previous versions, abandoning the red, white and blue color scheme for a more Army camouflage-inspired palette. The shoe features a Neutral Olive leather upper with laser etching gracing the entire heel panel. The toe box and mid panel are constructed with a grid nylon material that also provides a military look. Additional accents come by way of a contrasting white midsole and laces and a black outsole and tongue label. A final touch is the 50 stars that adorn the upper heel panel in a vertical design. These kicks were released as a Quickstrike this past weekend to military bases throughout the United States, so if you have a friend in the service, you might want to make a phone call.
