Adidas Presents Adivisionaries Part 1 Mr Omori

“I want to convince people with what I create.”

Tokashi Omori is a throwback, both to the way things were done in the past, and that nostalgic sense of doing your work ‘the right way’. Mr. Omori has been crafting footwear for over fifty years, working in Japan with adidas since 1999. He’s responsible for models like the original adiZero, but unlike most of today’s top sneaker creators, Omori eschews digital modeling in favor of the time-tested hands-on approach. He understands how many people are impacted by his work, so the effort is driven by a sense of honor to the craft that everyday gives him “a sense of joy”.
