New York is in Carmelo Anthony‘s blood. From his early years growing up in Red Hook to his return to Madison Square Garden, Melo’s place in the mecca of basketball is firmly cemented. With the Knicks looking to the future and Melo’s fresh contract securing a long-term investment with the franchise, Jordan Brand’s focus for the signature athlete is all about his origins in New York City – and it’s certainly apparent with the all-new Melo M11.
Carmelo Anthony was on site at the redesigned Terminal 23 to show off his brand new Jordan Melo M11, his second straight signature to champion the Jordan Flight Plate. Melo gave an overview of a map of inspirations and basketball accomplishments for his new sneaker, debuted two NYC inspired colorways, and introduced a fresh paint job at Terminal 23’s court. What do you think of the silhouette so far? Be sure to check out more of the event recap after the break and stay tuned for the debut Melo M11 “Concrete Island” to arrive at select spots on January 3rd, 2015.
