Nike’s retro tennis line continues to make a formidable push into 2015. Sure, the brand seems to be more focused on the Nike Air Flare as of late, but that doesn’t mean that the Swoosh is going to abandon one of last year’s favorite retro models in the Nike Air Tech Challenge II. Andre Agassi’s signature silhouette returns in another mysterious look – one that most likely is making a reference to another ‘Grand Slam’ release. The inspiration behind the pair could be another one inspired by Andre’s wardrobe choice too. Back in 1995, he competed in the French Open wearing a casual pinstripe polo which might explain why this particular pair features a similar motif on the tongue and ankle collar. Given this year will be the 20th anniversary of Andre Agassi competing on the clay court, it would be a fitting homage from the Swoosh. Still no word yet on a release date from this pair, but check out more photos below.
