It’s official that vulcanized midsoles are the latest hot trend in lifestyle sneakers. With some models, this look has been around for a long time, but now some brands are taking some of their classic models and adding a vulcanized sole to the original design for a more stylish street look. We’ve shown a bunch of Nike styles like the Auto Flight and Auto Force that have experimented with the vulc sole hybrid concept and now it appears that Puma will also be following suit. Their classic First Round model has been streamlined for a cleaner, less bulky casual look and has also been spiced up with some sun-ray type graphics on the midsoles. Both black/white/red and white/black/silver versions of the First Round Vulc will be hitting select retailers some time in 2010, so stay tuned for further info. Via Sneakers.Br.
