The Air Jordan 11 IE could very well be returning in a new mid-top form. With the Jumpman giving retro treatments of early day samples and re-creating classic colorways on lowtops like we saw in last weekend’s Air Jordan 11 Low Bred, it shouldn’t be all that big a surprise that the brand continues to harken back into their own history in new and somewhat exciting ways. The Air Jordan 11 IE Low was the initial low-top incarnation of the Air Jordan 11. While that pair is slated to release later this year, here we see a major design overhaul by extending the silhouette into a more standard mid Jordan 11 construction. And with all of the new takes adding up to a sort of revisionist’s history, it’s only a matter of time until the brand brings back the Air Jordan 11 IE. What do you think of the first ever mid extension on the silhouette? Let us know in the comments section.
