The national anti-smoking initiative truth teams up with Vans for a special edition of the Authentic. The classic Vans silhouette features artwork by Brookly-based graphic artist Kevin Lyons, who first utilized the monster illustrations seen on the shoes for a one-of-a-kind mural painted in Raleigh, NC—an area of the country with higher than average tobacco usage. The colorful mural is translated into a more simple white and black graphic on the sneakers, which are available now at Vans.com and select Vans retailers.
