Nike Honors The 1996 Atlanta Olympics With Air Trainer SC High

Nike Air Trainer High Sc 1996 Atlanta Olympics 01

Update: Nike SNKRS released the shoe in limited quantity on August 10th.

Nike Sportswear is honoring the 20th anniversary of the Atlanta Olympics with this clean Nike Air Trainer SC High. It’s rare for an Olympic-themed sneaker to not feature a patriotic red, white, and blue, but this Nike retro instead opts to pay homage to the official Atlanta Olympics logo which at the time featured a 90s heavy influence of teal, gold, and a rainbow array of colors splashing on the torch. The premium build adds a unique peach logo on the tongue in honor of Georgia, America’s ‘peach state’, while a bolstered hair suede works well with a premium micro-perforated leather. The side panels even display a hidden reflective feature. Luxurious gold touches add a premium accent while a translucent outsole sees a multi-color confetti print liven up the whole affair. This Nike Air Trainer SC High “Atlanta Olympics” will arrive at select retailers on July 19th.
