We’re a little over a week away from the return of the Space Jam 11s, but there’s already an ongoing debate as to whether some of the pairs that have been previewed were fake or not. The main argument is that when you see any pair of Air Jordan 11s with those pesky ‘peaks’ on the patent leather mudguard – you know, those exposed extra tips of white fabric deviating from the pattern – that they must be fake. But that’s simply not the case for the upcoming Space Jam Jordan 11 retro.
Maybe you can blame it on the fact that Jordan Brand updated the mold for this Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” to closely match original samples from 1995, a theme that’s showcased throughout the December 10th retro with ‘Nike Air’ insoles and alternate 45 PE branding. But we’ve seen multiple store photos now, each showcasing subtle peaks throughout the mudguard, so there’s no need to worry about whether you received a fake pair later this December when most will be prone to peaking.
The Space Jam 11s release on December 10th at most Jordan retailers including Finishline.
