Nike Is Bringing Back The Air Max 1 “Skulls”

Updated on August 16th, 2017: The Nike Air Max 1 “Rebel Skulls” is available now for $110 at Nike.

The big summer for the Nike Air Max 1 continues with another release like the Air Max 1 Jewel that should have the biggest fans of the shoe feeling nostalgic, the return of the “Skulls” graphic. Back in 2007 two Air Max 1 colorways inspired by running legend Steve Prefontaine released, and although the skull graphic found on the tongue of this new all-black colorway is a bit different, it will definitely have Air Max 1 aficionados reminiscing about the previous “Skulls” sneakers.

There’s no word yet on if this new Air Max 1 Premium in black leather and suede with chrome accents is actually referencing the previous “Skulls” pack or not, but enjoy a full preview of the tough-looking colorway here, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for further details and expect them in stores in early September.
