ESPO Reveals Never-Before Seen Sample Of His Clear Air Force 2

ESPO Reveals Never-Before Seen Sample Of His Clear Air Force 2

In the earlier days of Nike collaborations, the partnering artists, designers and creatives were fairly limited in terms of what could be done. Most (if not all) collabs of the early 2000s were simple yet effective color selections with unusual graphics and the occasional new material. Steve Powers changed all that by delivering the most eccentric sneaker in Nike’s portfolio of collaborations – the Air Force II ESPO. It was an idea that was at first highly resisted by Nike, and later on blatantly ripped off. In this episode of Beyond The Box, ESPO and Ari Saal Forman discuss their beginnings in Philadelphia and the design process with the Swoosh while revealing a never-before-seen unreleased sample of these game-changing see-through shoes.
