Virgil Abloh and Nike’s culture-shifting “The Ten” collaboration that kicked off in November of last year has continued its strong run in 2018. Abloh’s stripped-apart Nike and Jordan designs are never far from the headlines — as they’re constantly spotted on the feet of athletes and celebrities worldwide — and his dominance of the market shows no signs of losing steam any time soon. Now the two partners are set to finish off 2018 with a bang, as after two pairs of monochromatic Off-White Zoom Fly SPs dropped in November, they’ve got a duo of special Air Force 1s set to release this December: both a volt and a black colorway. Abloh’s signature aesthetic is readily apparent on each pair, with the uppers featuring a combination of synthetic ripstop material/canvas, and the seams of each panel presenting a raised design to call attention to the AF1’s iconic construction. Each shoe also features a delicately pinned Swoosh with an orange tag, an off-center tongue logo, and the signature Off-White Helvetica text adorns both the medial midfoot and lateral midsole. Grab your most detailed look yet at both pairs below, and expect a December 19th release date for each.
