Kanye West’s long-anticipated adidas Yeezy 451 is slated to release at the end of 2019, and we now have a first look at the new silhouette’s packaging. Arriving in the Yeezy line’s simple brown pull-out box with bold black embellishments on the top and sides, the straightforward parcel’s aesthetic somewhat belies the arresting shoes that are contained in its cardboard folds. Deviating from ‘Ye’s past Trefoil Brand designs in both style and materials, the 451 is set to be the first-ever non-boot adidas Yeezy that doesn’t utilize Boost or adiPRENE cushioning. Featuring a large midsole that reaches high onto the knit upper and an abstract lacing system, the 451 was designed by Steven Smith, the man also responsible for classic silhouettes like the Reebok Instapump Fury and the Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus. Get a first look at the packaging/another glimpse at an early sample of the shoes below, and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for further release date information as it’s available.
