Often flaunting its overt typography hits atop bright and bold colorways, the newest adidas NMD Hu taps the creative masterwork of BBC once again, fusing the performance-focused and free spirt of the Three Stripes with the whimsical nature of Pharrell’s eccentric imprint. Known for their wild graphics and aversion to the norm, the newest collaboration pits blacks against blues in a patterned arrangement that mimics a plaid flannel or a date-ready picnic blanket. Embroidered “HEART” visuals on the right foot and “MIND” on the left find connection to the human experience once again much like the pack released back in October of last year. Knit uppers, Boost sole units, and the aggressive lacing define the many hallmarks of the release, finished in cobranded fashion along the heel counter. Grab a detailed look at the soon-to-release NMD Hu below and find them rolling out to select retailers as well as adidas.com this Friday, May 3rd; the blue pair will release online, whereas the green pair will be exclusive to BBC.
