PJ Tucker Reveals A Closer Look At The Nike Air Fear Of God 1 “Orange Pulse”

It’s business as usual during the playoffs for NBA sneaker king PJ Tucker of the Houston Rockets, as he rolled up to the arena for Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors toting the highly anticipated Nike Air Fear Of God 1 “Orange Pulse.” This fresh take on the Leo Chang-designed sneaker that first debuted in 2018 swaps out the understated palettes of past releases, opting instead for a bold hazard-style neon orange that covers the entire shoe with the exception of the heel’s icy blue double-stacked Zoom Air unit. Although the colors are louder than before, the look is still just as premium, combining a textile upper, smooth nubuck toebox, high-vis reflective toe cap, and a signature plastic midfoot cage with thick rope laces. Tonal branding appears on both the upper and midsole, a heel zipper ensures easy on/easy off, and a leather sockliner guarantees that these Nike shoes feel just as premium as they look. As Tucker was the first — and, thus far, only — NBA player to wear the FOG 1 on court, it’s certainly fitting that he’s also the first to receive this new colorway.
