Only months before 2020, adidas is already prepped and working overdrive to provide their yearly updates to some of their many staple silhouettes. And though the NMD has more recently been put on the back-burner, it seems the Three Stripes is focusing its attention on the model once more with what appears to be the NMD V2. Same yet different, the update provides very sparing modifications to the timeless runner with its most apparent being the Boost coloring, an innovation that has only recently made its way to general releases. Red at its forefoot and then blue towards the rear, the few yet bold pops of color accent what is a Primeknit arrangement of black shades with taping and overlaid supports adding contrast in a barely distinct grey. Lace units are much more pronounced along with the similarly glossy branding down the tongue, featuring patterned rope laces as well as a eye stays of more intricate shape. Japanese character find their place once more along both the type-adorned patch at the side as well as the pull tab across the heel. Grab a detailed look here and keep it locked for word on its adidas.com release.
