New Balance, in more recent memory, has been heavily focused on their collaborations as they’ve been showing off looming footwear projects with the likes of JJJJound, atmos, and Stray Rats within the past several days. And while all of these are good and fun, the dad shoe experts are looking swing the attention back to their mainline as they have just revealed their latest 997S capsule. The lifestyle silhouette, after recently employing iridescent paneling on its partnership with DTLR, is setting aside the “Greek God” elements for a second, and instead opting for thematics relative to patriotic allure. And due to the nature of they’re color schemes, this three-pronged set is unofficially entitled the “New England Pack”. Two of the offerings are primarily hued in neutral format, with the first dominated by grey upper paneling with accompanying navy/red accents, and the second mostly seeing through to a navy base layer that features white mesh throats and red heel hits. The third sibling is certainly the most bold of them all as its upper constructions are presented in a vibrant red, with subtle notes of navy blue touching onto the “N” logos and midsoles. Each style is available now overseas for a retail price of $130, so peep a closer look here below and stay tuned for a stateside release likely in the coming weeks on NewBalance.com.
In other news, peep at first look at the upcoming JJJJound New Balance 992s.
