Signed by the artist himself, Reebok’s latest Japan exclusive teams up with a familiar friend: Takuya Kamioka. Effectively a real life recreation of past art, the collaborative Instapump Fury is ripped right from the creative’s depiction of the silhouette’s “Citron” colorway as it was seen at the brand’s “90s House” in Tokyo. And much like his own professional and personal work, the offering shows an impressive restraint as color blocking relies on the familiar rather than the absurd. Neon greens, which accent against a backdrop of extreme neutrals, brighten up the inflating bladder as well as the inner lining — the former a perfect place for Kamioka’s signature to rest. Heel and tongue pulls extend by way of black webbing and extremely subtle reflective strips, while the rest of the mesh and synthetics prefer to dress understated in their fully dark appearance. Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect select retailers to be releasing their pairs on May 15th.
In other news, a Pride Month New Balance 327 is on the way.
