Disney’s Goofy Covers An adidas Collaborative Capsule

Disney and adidas continue their partnership with a sports-inspired capsule featuring a duo of both the adidas 3MC and adidas Nizza. Unlike previous collaborations between both brands, the latest joint-effort stars Goofy instead of Mickey Mouse.

The whimsical character, which is still scheduled to appear on the Ultra Boost, is displayed in various sports scenarios across each shoes’ uppers. Skate-inspired pairs of the 3MC show Goofy playing baseball and surfing, with the latter activity aptly shown on the silhouette’s more casual, slip-on version. Among the four-piece collection, the standard 3MC is the most vibrant, donning a “Scarlet” palette overlaid with colored-graphics of Goofy.

By comparison, both low-top versions of the Nizza are predominantly clad in the monochromatic. Each pair also displays Disney’s iconic character playing ball, catching waves, or skating, but only the mostly “Cloud White” option does so in color. Unlike its three co-stars, the “Core Black” Nizza forgoes any canvas construction in favor of a leather upper. Underfoot, however, it, like the rest of this capsule, boasts grippy tread perfect for the transitioning in-between activities.
